As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial services location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, supporting access control, monitoring entry activity, and responding to alarms and security-related concerns. You will deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and detailed reporting while partnering with site leadership. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having a guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete accurate reports and logs, including visitor entries, deliveries, incident reports, and other required documentation to help support a professional front desk operation.
