About The Position

As a Front Desk Officer at a residential community, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access and visitor logs, answer questions, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will use computer and/or tablet systems to document activity and support the team, bringing Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first culture to every interaction. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies at the front desk.
  • Control access to the property by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Handle routine communications and administrative duties such as answering phones, relaying messages, documenting service requests, and coordinating with property management and/or maintenance as needed.
