Security Officer - Front Desk Greeter
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Front Desk Greeter in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced front desk location where you will welcome guests, verify credentials, manage visitor logs and badges, monitor cameras and alarms, and communicate clearly with staff to help address security-related concerns. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team with a caring, people-first approach, supporting strong service through teamwork and integrity while documenting activities and escalating issues as needed.
Requirements
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
- State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor the front desk area, lobby traffic, and entry points, using available systems and access controls to help support an orderly location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
