Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct guests, vendors, and staff according to site access procedures.
  • Answer phones, manage visitor logs, issue temporary badges or passes, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or appointments.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Support access control at entry points by helping to deter unauthorized entry, observing incoming and outgoing traffic, and documenting security-related concerns in required reports.
