As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, helping manage access, greet guests, issue badges, and support lobby protocols. You will monitor cameras and alarm activity, document incidents, communicate clearly with property teams, and contribute to a welcoming environment through integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at the reception area by greeting and directing visitors, issuing visitor credentials when required, and supporting building access protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Monitor security-related systems and activity from the front desk, document observations, and communicate concerns to property management and/or designated contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for assistance and coordinating notifications per post orders.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as visitor logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and maintain a professional presence at the lobby and reception area.
