Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to support a secure environment. You will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, assist with access points, and document security-related activity. Bring strong communication and customer service as you work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Lifting more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, docks, parking areas, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor check-in, badge verification, and delivery driver processing in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.
