You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in, and communicate with site teams to help reduce unauthorized access and security-related incidents. You may conduct routine rounds of nearby areas and document observations. Requirements

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Hold a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate areas.
• Screen and monitor inbound and outbound vehicles and deliveries as required, including checking shipping documentation, coordinating with site contacts, and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities per post orders and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, and complete required reports.
