Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced Tech, Media, and/or Telecom location where you will focus on access control and security-related duties such as verifying badges, managing visitors and deliveries, monitoring entry points, and completing routine patrols to help reduce incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, use a computer and/or tablet for logs and reporting, and bring a people-first mindset. Requirements

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary badges per site policy, and directing foot and vehicle traffic to approved areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, documenting irregular activity and escalating concerns through established communication and reporting channels to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdown procedures as directed by site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around interior work areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, noting hazards, unsecured doors, and policy violations and reporting findings per post orders.
