You will be a visible, customer-focused presence, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a smooth shift through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license per AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing arrivals to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, alarms, and access control systems, and report suspicious or unusual activity per post orders to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including doors, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, while documenting observations and conditions as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, complete required reports, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and responding public services as directed.
