About The Position

As a Security Officer Guest Services Driver in Woonsocket, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and nearby common areas from a stationary post, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing guests to the correct departments and/or check-in locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with evacuations and/or medical response protocols as directed.
  • Complete security-related reports, document incidents and observations, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers to support continuity of operations.
