As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, and document observations with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical-related support requests, and policy concerns, and coordinate with on-site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues for follow-up.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor directions and wayfinding, and verify credentials and/or access permissions in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and service calls in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoffs to support continuity of operations.
