As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. This role fits an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and leads with integrity.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, requesting identification when required, and/or directing visitors to the proper check-in areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when possible and/or requesting assistance as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
