About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Annex Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, while supporting a caring, people-first culture. Requirements

• This is a hospital site where vaccines are required.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as required, and assist with wayfinding and controlled access to restricted or sensitive areas.
• Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs, document security-related observations, and communicate key information to incoming officers and site representatives.
