About The Position
As a Security Officer - Hospital Mobile Driver in Palm Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Vaccines are required for this hospital post.
- This post is located in a hospital morgue.
- Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and requesting additional support when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor CCTV and/or alarm systems when assigned, document observations, and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate clearly with onsite personnel and emergency services, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
