Join Allied Universal at a government healthcare location supporting vaccine operations, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, assist staff and visitors with clear communication, and document observations and/or incidents. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government healthcare location.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical support requests, and/or facility alarms.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, campus grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Document security-related observations, incidents, and actions taken, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or public sector partners as needed.
