As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related presence by managing badge access, monitoring alarms, and completing routine patrols and checks. You will use computers and/or tablets to document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to access requests with strong customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and access control procedures at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing deliveries and contractors per site requirements.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems and report irregular activity or maintenance concerns per protocol to support security-related operations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with site procedures.
