About The Position

As a Security Officer - Lobby Concierge in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate front desk where you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control and badges, support security-related logging and reporting, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. You will help maintain a professional lobby presence while using computer and/or tablet tools to document activity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, vendors, and/or staff at a commercial real estate front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor lobby activity, building access points, and/or cameras where assigned to help to deter unauthorized entry and report irregular activity.
• Control access by verifying identification, processing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary credentials where applicable, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required logs and reports, communicate with building management and/or on-site teams, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
