As a Front Desk Security Officer at a high-end retail location, you will welcome guests, support a smooth check-in experience, and help manage access control and badge processes. You will monitor activity from the reception area, document security-related observations, and communicate clearly with store teams and visitors. Using a computer and/or tablet, you will support daily reporting while bringing Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store associates, guests, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and notifying store leadership of arrivals.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems from the front desk, documenting observations and escalating unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and local first responders as needed.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and administrative duties such as answering phones, managing keys and/or access credentials, and routing requests to the appropriate contact.
