At this front desk post in a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, verify identification, manage access control and badges, answer calls, and document security-related activity with clear communication and strong customer service. As a driving post, you may also support nearby site needs using a company vehicle. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while helping maintain an orderly, professional environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location within a financial institution.
  • Control access by greeting and directing visitors, issuing temporary badges, confirming identification and/or appointments, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs per site requirements.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and report irregular conditions or policy violations through established notification and escalation procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and/or public emergency services when needed.
  • Complete routine administrative duties such as answering phones, processing deliveries, documenting incidents and compiling shift activity reports using required report-writing systems.
