As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy financial services location, you will greet associates and visitors, verify access, manage check-ins, and monitor cameras and alarms to help identify and help to deter security-related concerns. You will be a calm, professional first point of contact, using clear communication and basic technology to support daily operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Monitor lobby activity and access points, greet visitors, verify identification and appointment details, and issue temporary credentials per location policy.
  • Control access by managing visitor, vendor, and employee entry protocols, coordinating with on-site staff for approvals and escorts when required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Operate phones, radios, and building systems as assigned, maintain accurate logs and reports, and assist with administrative tasks related to security-related operations.
