As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail location, you will welcome guests and tenants, manage access control, issue visitor credentials, answer phones, monitor cameras and alarms, and document incidents with clear communication. You will be a visible, helpful presence that can help to deter security-related concerns while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and security-related protocols for a retail and mall location.
• Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and vendors; verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and radios; report unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Complete required logs and reports, document incidents and service requests, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
