This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state, supporting mobile patrol coverage across the site. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or visitor management tools, reporting irregularities according to post orders.
  • Complete security-related reports, logs, and shift handoffs, including incident reports, patrol activity, and/or maintenance concerns observed while on post.
