As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting smooth operations at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations observed during assigned shifts.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or site management.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all access control activities, incidents, and daily operations.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs within the logistics and distribution environment.
