About The Position

As a Security Officer - First Aid Patrol in Mukilteo, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will build trust through clear communication and customer service, working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by a caring culture that puts people first and always acts with integrity.

Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with reporting and documentation per site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout facilities, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying identification and/or authorization and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
• Observe for unusual activity and potential policy violations, communicate concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and help to deter unauthorized access.
