As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a technology workplace.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, and/or surveillance systems where assigned, assisting with visitor management and reporting unusual conditions.
  • Complete detailed reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs using required tools, and communicate professionally with site staff, vendors, and/or local responders.
