As a Front Desk Security Officer in a residential community, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access control, monitor cameras and alarms, answer questions, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at the front desk while following site-specific access control procedures and security-related protocols.
  • Monitor and document building entry activity using visitor logs, credentials, and/or building systems, and promptly report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Answer phones, route calls, and assist with resident requests while maintaining a professional front desk presence consistent with community standards.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and/or emergency response activities as directed by site policies.
  • Complete shift reports and required documentation, communicating notable events and/or maintenance or conduct concerns to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
