As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to calls for assistance, and document observations. Requirements
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Have 2+ years' service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital staff and/or local emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
- Control access at designated entrances and restricted areas by verifying authorization, issuing visitor directions, and documenting entries and/or exits per site procedures.
- Complete detailed written and electronic reports on daily activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
