About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Driver Patrol in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with clear communication and professional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required by site policy, documenting entries and exits as needed.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrol activities, incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to supervision and site leadership.
