About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge checks, and report security-related concerns with clear, professional communication. You will be a visible, customer-focused presence that helps to deter incidents while partnering with site teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization and directing individuals according to site procedures.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
