Job Description As a Security Officer - Multi Bank Patrol in Waterbury, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will support staff and visitors with customer-focused service while documenting observations and escalating concerns as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post instructions within a financial institution location.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring entry points, and observing customer and employee areas for unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and suspicious activity per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting concerns.
• Complete required documentation such as daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
