About The Position

As a Security Officer - Night Patrol Driver in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and reports with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile patrols and rapid coverage across the site. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, offices, parking lots, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor and control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and coordinating with site personnel for dock, trailer, and gate activity as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical events, fire conditions, and customer complaints, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
  • Complete accurate reports and documentation for patrols, access activity, and incidents, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
