About The Position

As a Security Officer - Evening Campus Rounds in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a premier commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and a customer-first mindset. You will also document observations, report unusual activity, and partner with site teams to deliver reliable service through teamwork, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities as directed by site policy.
  • Complete timely written and/or electronic reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate key information during shift turnovers.
