About The Position

As a Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol in Vienna, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or reports, document activities, and deliver customer-focused communication to staff and visitors. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization as directed by post orders, and directing visitors and deliveries to the appropriate locations.
• Complete required reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and unusual condition reporting, using written forms and/or electronic systems per site requirements.
