As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site leaders and visitors, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout industrial buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and drivers in accordance with post orders, documenting entries and exits as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, alarm conditions, and disturbances, and promptly notify the appropriate parties.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities, security-related incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
