Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Foot Patrol in Rockaway Park , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident concerns with professionalism and care. You will document activity, communicate clearly with your team, and support a welcoming environment through customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and security-related protocols, and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, garages, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry points and verify resident, visitor, and vendor authorization as required, including issuing visitor instructions and directing deliveries to approved locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from local responders and/or management when needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and pass-down communication, and/or document observations using required systems and equipment.
