Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, respond to alarms and guest concerns, and provide professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR have a college degree.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
- Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification or authorization as required, and directing visitors, vendors, and employees according to site procedures.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner, and/or use required systems to record activities and observations.
