About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. You will document activities, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • A CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, gathering basic details, and escalating per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and work areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Control access by checking identification and/or visitor credentials, directing authorized personnel and visitors, and reporting access concerns to site leadership.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
