Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol in Lower Manhattan , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist with access points and badge activity as needed. You will also communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site teams while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies within a commercial property location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading docks, and building perimeter, documenting observations per site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, access concerns, disturbances, and calls for service, and request assistance from emergency responders when appropriate.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards that could impact property operations, and help to deter unauthorized entry through presence and professional communication.
- Complete accurate reports and activity logs, communicate pertinent information to property management and/or supervisors, and support security-related emergency response activities as directed.
