As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will make routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional workplace experience for employees and visitors. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and use teamwork to deliver reliable service. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or visitor authorization, directing guests to appropriate check-in procedures and documenting entries as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance and/or emergency services as needed and completing required notifications.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol observations, incidents, and service-related activities using site-required logs and/or reporting systems.
