As a Dispatch Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor cameras and alarm panels, coordinate security-related response activity, manage access control and badge requests, and share timely updates with on-site teams and key contacts. You will help to deter incidents through clear radio communication, accurate reporting, and calm customer service. Requirements

  • 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology and data-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the dispatch function by receiving alarms, service requests, and incident reports; prioritize calls and coordinate response activities with on-site personnel and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor access control and video systems, review alarms and alerts, and document observations to help support security-related operations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications and detailed incident documentation.
  • Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
