As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badges, answer questions, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting and assisting visitors, employees, and vendors while following site-specific access and security-related procedures.
  • Control lobby entry by verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting onsite management and/or emergency services as needed and documenting actions taken.
  • Support a professional environment within a financial institution location by communicating policy requirements, de-escalating minor issues, and completing accurate shift reports.
