You will assist shoppers and store teams with clear communication, document observations, and help to deter unwanted activity while supporting smooth operations. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disorderly conduct, medical situations, and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Support store operations by monitoring for theft-related behaviors, observing suspicious activity, and coordinating with management and/or law enforcement when needed.
• Complete required logs and reports, communicate observations to supervisors and site contacts, and use radios and/or other systems to document and escalate security-related concerns.
