As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will report concerns, support access and visitor activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, and directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in and documentation process.
- Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
