As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct mobile and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to issues with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points, documenting observations per post orders.
- Monitor access points and respond to alarms, unusual activity, and policy violations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, including noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues for follow-up.
- Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of property, and assisting with badge checks and visitor processing as required.
