As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and security-related rounds, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, and support staff and visitors with respectful customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring clear communication, quick problem-solving, and integrity to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and observe customer and employee areas to help identify suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report findings promptly.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and onsite contacts.
