As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for service, document observations, and deliver clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, including emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, unsecured doors, or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and perform security-related access control functions including checking identification, managing visitor entry, and directing contractors and deliveries according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed written reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site stakeholders during shift briefings and post transitions.
