As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver a customer-service mindset on every shift. Requirements

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badge processes, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete required reports and logs, including patrol documentation and incident statements, and notify appropriate parties when unusual activity, property concerns, and/or policy violations are observed.
