As an unarmed patrol officer in a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and support daily operations with a customer-service mindset. Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, visitor traffic, and restricted areas, verifying authorization and directing individuals according to site procedures.
- Prepare timely reports on patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
