As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and clear communication. You will document observations, report concerns, and work closely with site teams, bringing Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal leadership per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points such as doors, gates, loading areas, and visitor entry points, verifying credentials and/or delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, including incident documentation, patrol activity logs, and observations related to security-related concerns.
