As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a customer-focused presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, corridors, office areas, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and badge-controlled entries, verify authorization as required, and/or assist with visitor check-in procedures in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating timely updates to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete routine security-related reports and logs, observe and report maintenance or environmental issues, and/or coordinate with site leadership and local responders as directed.
